Dynamic Cardiac CT has revolutionized the assessment of coronary plaques by providing functional and anatomical data in a single modality. Traditional imaging modalities such as invasive coronary angiography and static CT are limited in their ability to provide dynamic data on coronary flow, which is critical in understanding the clinical significance of coronary stenosis. This review highlights the advances in Dynamic Cardiac CT, emphasizing its ability to assess coronary plaque composition, predict cardiovascular events, and guide therapeutic interventions. We provide an overview of current techniques, clinical applications, and future directions in coronary plaque imaging.
