Abstract

Valvular heart disease (VHD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Early detection and accurate evaluation are essential for effective management. Non-invasive imaging techniques, such as echocardiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), have advanced significantly, improving the diagnosis and treatment of valve diseases. These modalities allow for precise anatomical and functional assessment, aiding in clinical decision-making. This review focuses on the latest advancements in non-invasive imaging modalities used for evaluating valve diseases, highlighting their clinical applications.
